Tyler Robotics Team Shares What They Have Learned

On Thursday, January 20, the Super Tyler Tomcats, along with other robotics teams from the area, attended a session of Leadership Prince William to share the skills, knowledge, and experiences they have gained through their participation in the First Lego League robotics program. They demonstrated their solutions to problems in the food industry based on their research as well as their robot building and programming. It was an exciting opportunity to share their enthusiasm and dedication to learning.

Leadership Prince William, formed by the local Chambers of Commerce, unites a group of dedicated and diverse leaders committed to growing and strengthening our community. It is a program designed to assist in preparing existing and emerging community leaders for leadership positions in business, local government and community affairs.

Getting Ready for the School Year - Tyler Elementry Bus Rules

Tyler students are expected to demonstrate Quality Bus Behaviors at all times.

Remember:  Riding the school bus is a privilege and it is very important to review the school bus rules with your children prior to the start of school and often during the school year.

Expected Quality Student Bus Rules:

  • Obey instruction of the bus driver at all times
  • Be seated immediately and remain in your seat until the bus comes to a complete stop
  • Remain seated at all times, facing forward
  • Share seats equally
  • Be courteous, be respectful, be kind at all times
  • Use appropriate language for school at all times
  • Keep aisles clear
We have high expectations for all of our students to have a safe and enjoyable bus ride home!
